Okay, since I'm a Ranger, I'm trying to see which company has the best stats. Now I've been trying to compare the three stats of PP/Att/Acc with the three companies but since the shop doesn't have them all I'm having a hard time with comparisons. If anyone has done this already please let me know. So far I've only been able to compare the Dual Handguns.

Now this is what I can tell, of course this formula will vary with weapon, rank, attribute bonus and such forth. If I'm wrong in any of this, please tell me! I know it's wrong that I'm basing this on only one weapon type and not several but as I said the weapon shop in the GUARDIANS Colony does not have all three manufacturers in some weapon categories.

G.M.C: Average PP, average attack, low accuracy.
Yohmei: High PP, poor attack, average accuracy.
TENORA WORKS: Low PP, high attack, average accuracy.

From what I can tell with my comparisons in the knuckle category,(From the $800 models) each company focused on one attribute.

G.M.C.: Focuses on attack.
Yohmei:: Focuses on PP
TENORA WORKS: Focuses on accuracy.

If I have any errors or I am missing something, please tell me. I have not researched on their armor ratings yet.

Actually, I would change something in your post.
GRM focus on more on accuracy (oddly) and Tenora focuses on more attack.

Tenora weapons still tend to have more accuracey, though. But maybe that's because the requirement is higher.

Tenora works weapons are generally both more accurate and more powerfull, yet they have noticably lower PP capacity in comparison to Youmei weapons, and sometimes even G.R.M.

Tenora weapons all look so awesome. Especially their sabers and swords. Unfortunately they run out of PP way too fast for my taste. Youmei hanguns look like plasma pistols from halo.

Whoa wait a sec, none of these guys makes claws? Where would you get them? Could you only synth them then?

It's not so much changed as they just decided to translate it a bit differently.

The information is a tad out of date, as claws weren't available at the beginning.

That's in offline mode. Online, at least from what I've played in the beta, GRM had the worst accuracy of the three brands.

ooh now you've completely lost me... what are these factions about? are they weapon manufacturers?

They are the main corporations in the game that makes up (along with Kubera, which is considered a 4th source and means something to the effect of "neutral" in japanese appearently) the producers of all armor and weapons.

Note also that there are also Clothing Line Companies and Cast Body Part Companies as well, but they lack the general "big department stores" the other companies have.

Its kubara.

Youmei hanguns look like plasma pistols from halo.
The kubara version of the youmei handguns that I currently use are kind of a black or a really dark metalic and look even more like the plasma pistols from halo. Perhaps I'll post a picture in a bit.

Also, you can't just take into context what their base stats are. You also have to consider their grinding ability. A youmei weapon at max grind will have roughly the same ATP as a grm weapon, sometimes even higher, and still keep the large PP difference.

Do the GMC weapons come with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty?

heres the picture of the kubara youmei. The desciption is rather ambiguous to whether they have any extra effect. But its basically an expirmental version of the youmei handguns. Description also says something about a high capacity reactor. They start with slightly lower stats than the normal youmei version, but grind twice as well. Made by swapping kubara wood out on 6 star gun board, which works for nearly all 6 star and 8 star ranged weapons.

Not a fan of guns, though that pistol looks cool.
I hope there are swords, claw, twin claws and double saber that can be made with that deep dark grey color scheme.

And I'm still wondering on what manufacturer to go with. I was thinking going with GMC due to their moderate PP/attack ratings despite they have the worst accuracy.

I like G.M.C. more... They could focus on building the SUV weapons. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

...and yes I know it's GRM, not G.M.C.

in the japanese offline mode all the claws i've seen are Yohmei.

From my experiences, I've learned this:
GRM has average damage and PP, but lowest accuracy and ATP requirements.
Yohmei has the lowest damage and the highest PP, but average accuracy and ATP requirements.
Tenora Works has the highest damage and the lowest PP, but the highest accuracy and ATP requirements.

That considered, I like Yohmei for my Mechguns since I use them only to freeze.
Otherwise, I like GRM since it's balanced... of course, once I reach the higher levels, it will obviously better to use Tenora Works exclusively, since Photon Charges will be cheaper.

I was looking at knuckles..

"They have slightly more ATP and ATA than Sabers and a four hit combo on one target, but a worse attack animation."

what does that mean?

-Break-

It looks lamer to some I guess....However, statistically, Knuckles own. Their only major downside is their short reach.
