But I created her, ran upstairs to the 5th floor to check how much class changing was, and in less than 2 minutes since I started some guy said, "Hey baby". So I logged her off and made a male character instead.

I don't know if I'll be swimming in pools of other Cassies after the US release, but I've been meaning to play a Cassy for the longest time since PSO, but never got around to it (I had a sad sad Huney, but BOY could she deal damage =P).

I'm pretty sure if you go into the character creation, at least on beta, that all races of the same gender share the same hairstyles, that goes for females, too.

I don't think I tried to make a male Newman, which is probably why they stood out for me more when I did see them. But the Humans and Beasts all seemed the same to me, except the ears which were usually too subtle to notice.

Ignoring Casts, the biggest difference between the races is their ears. The way I see it, this thread should really be interpreted as "Are you homosexual (male options, in most cases)? A furry perhaps (Beasts; perhaps Rappy)? Do you mainly feel attracted to the caucasian (Human), mongoloid (Newman) or negroid (Beast) races?"

that newman could have trained himself/herself to become really strong(eg, lifting weights, wanting to be a hunter instead of a force, etc) while the beast may not be interested in being strong. also, the newman could be really good in bed.

The one thing that pisses me off in this game with the girls, is that it can be a bit tricky to make a really bitchy fierce type lady. At least *some* males are getting votes. Though, as of this time, the internet isn't exactly fair for these polls. When it comes to visual preferences, it's going to be lop-sided...that is, until the internet population of people reflects the non-internet-specific one. IMO, you actually can make some pretty striking males, in this game, especially with games out there which don't give you good male selections. (WoW for example)

I have a hard time deciding to pick any one of them. I think they did a generally good job giving the player a chance to represent their Race with lookers of their design. I guess it's up to the beholder as to whether you think one is better-looking than the other. I always liked Newman Females (I think its because my 1st PSO friend ever ever ever ever from the 1st day it was launched on Dreamcast) was both a HUnewearl and a FOmar. Even though I thought the FOmar was cuter I just think the Newman Females are better looking lol.
Also, the new Beast Females look cute too so Im not sure how to judge between the two.
