PS2 v. payment question

I was just wondering if the payment for PSU is going to be like the one for PSO in the way that u pay a flat rate for multiple char slots or is it going to be pay for game and then extra for more chars

The division of the Japanese PS2/PC servers into two worlds really is a completely seperate matter than the different servers for the different platforms. We really don't know if they're going to copy the two world format for the NA PC/PS2 servers. They might or they might not.

So yeah, $9.99 for an account which gets your 4 online character slots. If they do have two seperate worlds, then you'll have 4 character slots per world (worlds being essentially seperate servers, with characters made on one unable to interact with those on the other). Only way to get more slots is to buy another account.

I "think" sega said they are only going to start with 1 world though, and since NA population is pretty evenly split between XBOX360 and PC/PS2 I don't see the need for another world unless the EU version overflows PSU.
