PSU Ports

My college blocks gaming ports, because they're freaking bastards. But this game requires internet just for offline play, so I am going to IT and not leaving until the ports are opened. Just wondering if anyone knows what ports are used in the PC version of PSU to connect?

The port used for the Internet is 8080, if you can get internet access you should be fine (online play I dont know).

The reason no one answered you is because no one knows. In the past PSO versions, the port numbers changed when it came to NA. So you should just wait untill the game comes out.

The JP PC version uses TCP ports 11000-11099 and 12000-12099. It is unknown if the US release will use the same ports (PSO changed ports pretty much every time it was released, even if it was only a localisation). I do not know what the 360 Beta is using.

For an ID check on the JP PC offline game (for story/extra), it appears to use 443 and 80. Those are the default HTTPS and HTTP ports, respectively.

I am behind a network that does not competely block TCP ports 11000-11099 and 12000-12099, but traffic through them is severely throttled (and I can not get them opened). I have had to set up a SSH Tunnel in order to play JP PSU.
