Add stating In Stores 10.27.06

Im staring at the first flash add for the game I've seen so far on IGN, and it's stating this for the store date. This doesn't conflict with the release being the 24th does it? I know it probably allows 3 days for shipping. The add links to the official site which still has "The Battle Begins October 24th." Still, gave me chills.

Here's the page I saw it on btw, if you don't see the add, refresh several times and hopefully it'll appear. It's random afterall.

Its probable just a date to allow other stores like bestbuy, target, walmart ect. to get it, because atleast where I live only gamestop and EBgames gets games a day after the ship date and other stores don't sell them until thursday or friday.

There's already a topic on this, but anyways that add PHAILS! because the release date has been the 24th for a while now, my EBGames(East Coast BTW) said they'll get it the 25th. The only place I can see it coming out the 27 is in Canada.

Back on topic, maybe it was changed, but as of yet I really don't know. Of course, it does make sense for it to be released on the weekend. Wednesday seems funny.

It's not the 27th for Canada, atleast not where I'm at. It's the 24/25 whatever.

While I was pre-ordering my excitement went up like 100% and I don't remember exactly what was said.

I don't know why people are so surprised when they see this. 24th is the shipping date, and most stores won't have it until the 26th or 27th. In fact, EBgames told me that it probably wouldn't arrive until at least the night of the 25th or the morning of the 26th.

I called my Gamestop about when I can expect to pick it up. They said they will get their shipment on the 25th, anywhere from 10am - 4pm. That's when I figured I might as well go to work that day, and pick up afterwork. I would hate to be pacing the house calling them every 30 minutes to see if it arrived yet.

I've spoken to a Wal-Mart employee who's a friend of mine and he said they'll have copies in stock on the 25th and it won't be a problem to snag on that day (at least where I live).
