I didn't do human very much in PSO. For me, it feels kind of exotic to work in
the Jack of All Trades race. That, in itself, has it's breed of unique feel to it.

My fonewearl was my favorite character in PSO and I figured it would be in PSU. However with only 10 techs at start(14 now) I just can't get into playing a force. So far my favorite character has been my beast hunter which is actually the last character I thought I'd be playing. But once all the techs are unlocked I'll probably get back to playing my foney.

Beast hunter for my main.

I'm still not clear on how expert classes work. What I mean is: If I choose for my beast to become a Fortefighter does that mean I can never change out of Fortefighter ever again? Or, can I change from Fortefigher to Wartecher if I want to?

Ultimately I want to be a beast hunter that, depending on what the team needs, plays as either Fortefighter or as Wartecher.

If we can't do that with just one character then I'll prolly focus on Fortefighter with my beast and then later on make a human or newman to work up towards Wartecher.

uhh, I don't think they need extra perks, they have really high ATP, HP, and DFP and Nanoblasts, what more could you want? What I would wish for is some other weakness for the Casts, they seem a little broken besides their bad evasion, nothing against Casts though.

Casts also have poor mst. That means they take more damage from magic attacks.

i think there were alot of cast because of the fact that this is open to all 360 gold members. i think most of the people saw the demo, dl it and picked the class they taught looked best. peoples reactions are like. "o cool a robot. im gonna be a robot cause robots are cool. i can go beep beep beep" well that or people are just testing out cast features. but i think my first reason is right because everytime i talked to someone whose a cast i asked how they liked cast and they said whats a cast.

Be easy on Flame6, now. Not everybody coming into PSU is even familiar with Phantasy Star, at all. Heck, before PSO, I've only been familiar with Phantasy Star 1 and 2. I still haven't played 3 (but will soon), and 4.

Ummm...their ATA kinda makes that high ATP worthless. I just dont think people will like Beast Hunters(Fortefighter or any other class) in a serious pick up group. Then a Beast really cant do anything else because of their low ATA and TAP so good luck with ranger or force type classes.

I'm sure sega will throw them a bone since they'll see hardly anyone playing them in JAPAN now and later U.S.A. & Europe.

Good, a challenge. While everyone and their friend is running around as a cast hunter I'll focus on making my beast hunter shine.
