Can a Human Female Character be a Wartechter and Cast Resta?

I am very confused on this situation because I created a Human Female Hunter and Obtained a Resta Disc and was able to Learn the Technique and it shows up under the Stats of my character but I am unable to use the technique and I am told that is because it can only be used with a Cane/Wand/Rod etc. So why was I able to Learn the Technique then? So if I am a Wartechter if that is even possible to choose for my Character could I then use the Technique? I read this about the Wartechter on this forum.

Wartechter (warrior + tech-caster)
Force + Hunter
Able to cast techniques as well as use melee weapons.

Please help anyone who knows, this is my only frustration with the game. I guess if I have to I will use 'Mates the rest of the game but it would be nice to get around that if possible. Those cost Meseta afterall....unless I make them *Rolls Eyes* 0_0

Thank You! in advance.

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Yes, Wartecher can use resta, because they can equip wands. Techs need to be attached to wands to be used, similar to skills on melee weapons. The reason you were able to learn resta as a hunter is because while you couldnt use it then, you would be able to use it if you changed your job to force

Of course, you'll have to level Force anyway, to become a Wartecher, so you'll get plenty of practice, being able to cast it.
