well with data corrupted due to servers shutting down right when I WAS SWITCHING servers totally blocks me off from even creating a new character to keep playing the beta.

even ppl who were fighting the dragon and got booted got the character data corrupted too.

the only ones who are safe are those who logged off before they shut down the servers for maintenance.


but what does this mean? we can't play on the servers without Live??????
hmmm might as well get the PS2/PC version maybe....

The file is still on the servers, goto account management and goto the list of things you downloaded, it should work http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Yep. I keep forgetting that little neat rule that pretty much anything you've already downloaded on Live is redownloadable, even if the link to it is removed from general marketplace.

Nor can they even charge for something you've downloaded. So if you got that Texas Hold Em while it was free, your account permanently remembers you own the game. So deleting it, would still mean you can get it back for free.

Probably because they figured with the time allotted, they would get the proper amount of folks on the beta. They probably wanted to avoid the numbers of people, that they would get, if they allowed something like a 4 day or more download time.

I was logged out long before the maintenance yesterday, so I know my info isnt corrupt.

I heard about this. It seems like it's true, since a server reset shouldn't take more than a day, and we lost a day to the maintenance, and didn't get bosses until about a day ago, AND so we can test out Nanoblasts and SUVs... I forgot to use periods. =]
