34" Sony XBR970 widescreen CRT HDTV (a high picture quality heavy beast)

Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Sound System

My computer is also connected to the TV. Both the PC and XBox360 are connected through component input.. XBox360 running at 720P and the same goes for the PC (although sometimes I switch the PC to 480P depending on the content I'm viewing..)

this makes my 20 inch plain ol' Samsung TV look boring. Only thing good is my Altec Lansing surround sound system that's connected to it.

EDIT: nvm that, watashiwa's really blew mine away

I see a lot of furniture sitting on the sidewalk in front of houses with signs that read "FREE" on them. One of my buddies is always grabbing them for his apartment.

30 year old 32" Hitachi tv[that works like new] and a 300$ Philips Surround Sound Home Theatre. I was going to get a new tv....but since this one still works like new, i figured it would be a waste of money.

Im thinking of getting vga cables for my 17inch flat panal monitor, but I noticed that the audio cables on the adapter are rca. However, theres nothing I can plug the rca cables into to get sound (Im not going to put my home stereo system on my computer desk). Is there an adapter that will allow you to connect PC speakers?
