Humans and Newmans can use Claire weapons as far as I know.

They're the counterpart to Cast SUVs and Beast Nanoblasts.

Also the reason my primarily Hunter-esque character will be Human.

noob question but what is a claire weapon?

As far as I know, it's a type of weapon with lower ATP than normal but is capable of hitting more things at once than a normal weapon of its type and from further away. Might sound a little lame, but after hearing some people describe how they work, they sound fantastic.
