If i buy the US version instead of EU can i still play with

The american players get the game at 24th of october but here in sweden we get it at 24th of november http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I was wondering what would happen if i ordered it from the US. Will i only be able to play on US realms/servers or will i be able to play with my friends who has the EU version?

360 will have /us/eu/jp all connected, this is likely due to it having a smaller playerbase

ps2/pc will ahve us/eu connected, and jp seperated

No you are right. I just misunderstood you, at first i though you mean that the 360 servers would be linked to PC / PS2 servers.

japan has a large playerbase for pc/ps2, whereas xbox is a smaller playerbase alone for being a single system (not merged like pc/ps2) but not very popular in japan, thus merging them to make it a playable playerbase for them.

There's no way anyone can know until the game is out and someone tries. There is no word from Sega on whether it is or not and they're not going to be advertising it even if it is region free. You just have to wait.

Or just be the one who takes the chance and informs everyone else :)
