Well, first off, this should have been posted in said topic. Second of all, you just need a Memory Card. The "fat" PS2 has slots for MCs too >_>

for one thing the HD makes it so you don't have to shed out extra cash just to play a handful of games that utilize the HD, or ONE game. Also I doubt anyone would be comfortable with ST and downloadable content lol

its not "needing to have ahardrive or not" thast bad, but its "If you ahve one its useless" that sucks, because I dont see why not to support its use, some people have it why not let them use it?
ps2 memory card is 8mb....hows that gonna work?

Because patching will mostly be done server side. Any content unlocked will already be on the PSU disc.
