X360 Beta user lockout, again.

Been locked out of my user account for the past two hours now as I see almost everyone on my friends list is on, having fun, like I'd would love to be.

Ditto. I was trying to get to My Room to check on my Synthesis and I got booted after about 5 minutes of "Moving".

This blows chunks. At least in PSO if we froze while loading we could get back on to assess the damage >_<

EDIT: The JP aren't 2 full days ahead of us >_> And it'd end at the end of Saturday, not the beginning.

Hey i got locked out to.I was playing a mission with a party when i got dissconnect for some reason dont know what happend.When i tried to get back on it said i cant due to ireggular shut down and to try again in 10 minutes .Well its been 2 hours now and still nothing if this is what i can look foward to with the real game then count on me not buying it.

I got the improper logouit, wait for 10 minutes message... it's been over 3 hours, and I didn't retry every second.

Yeah, I get it too, but I try again for 5-10 mins and 7 times out of 10 I get in again.

Just remember it's a free Beta, and the server space is most likely to increase for the real game.

Submitting something over on the official bug page (http://phantasystaruniverse.com/news_beta.php) might give them an extra kick too, though I'm pretty sure they know about it, considering they halted the servers a couple of days a go (http://boards.sega.com/psu/viewtopic.php?t=884) to increase space on the servers.

The problem isn't space, our data's been locked. after you "Agree" it waits a second and says "Your data has been locked due to an irregular shut down. Please try again in 10 minutes."

I sent a Bug Report anyway, but in any case this blows.

There's still been a fair amount of booting going on, though are that many people still locked out? I mean, last night there were only TWO of the 36 Universes that had any people on em (five stars). The rest were empty.

Its been really damn difficult getting a feel for how big the 360 community is going to be.

If they don't fix these server probs for the official release, no doubt it'll hit Sega hard...

I have faith in them though. The beta test was definitely a good idea, seeing all these problems we're getting. Let's just hope their technicians can get it sorted in time. *fingers crossed*

Er...11:59pm PST tonight, actually. A little later for EST, a little before 2am.

But this is a beta test, not a demo, so I'm pretty sure a lot of the issues you're experiencing won't be in retail. So I'm not worried too much. ^_^

My understanding was that the Beta was pretty much a server stress test, that the game build itself was just an older, non-optimzed version. Meaning, there is nothing that needs to eb fixed in the Beta itself, save for the servers, as it is already stuff they know about.

But isn't that just the recent rumor floating about the internet? Unfortunately I don't think Sega's said anything about the poor performance, and their intent to leave the Beta as it stands.

Tryyyying to be optimistic, but they haven't stated "don't worry guys!" either.

Well, whatever happens, I'm sure the pc/ps2 version will be rather identical since these are Sega's U.S. servers we're talking about.
