Once again it seems that people are all confused on a subject. So here is Zabot again to the rescue. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

it isnt really certain that you will be able to pay via the xbox live marketplace. i believe that they will because it would be a lot more convient.

Some people are freaking out because they need to give their credit card.

Others say that you have to give it to Microsoft anyway to get the PTS anyway.

HERE IS THE CLEARUP , you dont have to give your credit card number. you can go to EB Games, Gamestop, GameCrazy, etc. And BUY microsoft PTS Cards, i just bought a 1600 PT one. you dont need to give out your card number.

Hope this helps

Copy and paste from two topics below:

If you look in the marketplace right now it says £6.99 for a guardians license (I'm in UK). Sadly, there is no mention of MS points.

you dont use microsoft points for this at all. if you go to the gaurdians liscense download it says 9.99$ then if you actually read the text in the box to the right youll see that it automatically charges you another 9.99$ every month unless you cancel it. there are no points involved whatsoever

Umm, Zabot I have to disagree with you. Why make people purchase MS points every month for the game when they could set up auto pay like they did with PSO and FFXI on Microsoft consoles? People will forget to buy them, complain when their account is locked, and create more work for Sonic Team. Another benefit for ST using auto payment options is that they would reap a couple of extra months pay off those who don't play the game, but still want to hang around a little. Personally I believe that if they did it your way and used the MS points they would lose money, and no business wants to lose money.
