Firstly, please don't call me a n00b for asking this question. I've been coming here since before it was planetdreamcast.com but I've never felt the need to ask a question. This community has been so strong and helpful I've alwasy felt my questions were answered before I asked them. Anyways, on to my question.

This is an honest question, mind you....I have no idea. What are those class types I've been seeing like Wartecher, Figunner, etc.? The reason I ask is that I've been playing the Beta since it started, and everyone is talking about them, but I have no idea what they are. I guess my question is this:

1. What are they?
2. How do you become/ select these classes?
3. When can they be used?

Also, I played PSO GC for over three years all offline by myself, and I managed to achieve a lvl 152 Ranger. I got onto PSU beta last night, and these guys who had gotten to lvl 28 in the Beta were giving me crap saying I had no buisness playing PSU because they got to lvl 200 in PSO. They talked a lot of trash, and all I wanted was to party with them and have some fun and see what it's like at those higher lvls. Anyways, just thought I'd share my personal experience on my first time being online in the PS community, it wasn't a good one. But I know there are better people/ players out there who would open there parties to me and let me have fun. Thanks guys for your time, and I hope to become a more frequent poster here in the forums.

Here's a good place to start: http://www.psupedia.org/index.php?title=Expert_Types

There are definately better people than that out there. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Those are expert classes (of which I'll allow someone better versed in this knowledge to explain). Basically you can select different classes once you meet certain level requirements with the basic classes (force, hunter, ranger).

Holy shcow!!! Thanks a lot guys, that's exactly what I was looking for. Haha, but that makes it hard because a couple of those Expert Classes look really appealing. Can only one be chosen/ switched???

You can have one at a time, but you can switch between them if you have all the requirements.

Oh ok, thats awesome!! Thank you Enix. Yeah as for the PSU community, I really hope there aren't too many more people like those guys. I would name names...but I don't wanna stoop to that level.
