Quick Summary: You can put any letter, number, or symbol in your name, even the funny ones like Æ. People can save repeat names, too. The only limitation is the width of your name (actual width, not number of letters).

If you can create and name your own character in an online game, there will be at least one Dragonball Z character and one character named Sephiroth created within minutes of the game's launch.

I think the only type of 'known' character that I'd make would be 'Musashi', based on the actual person, not the SE games. That'd be the only time I wouldnt be original.

One is a understatement...I got into WoWs expansion burning crusade beta and the new blood elf race has anime style hair. Even though you can't use the same names there's like 7 variations of goku and sephs in general chat at one time. It gets really wierd when those 7 just talk to eachother almost looks like one person spamming to themselves lol.

For me it may be Zetta from Makai Kingdom since I used that name in FFXI. But that would be the name for the third character I create.
