It's listing the price as $14.99 for me, with a Canadian account. Unless that's a mistake that's going to get corrected, they're out of their fucking minds - 9.99USD is about 11.25CAD.

Redeem prepaid card (a.k.a. Microsoft Points?)
The Credit Card you have on file linked to your Live account
And the option to pay with another credit card of your choosing

It's a recurring fee (read: charges monthly), and no word on the first month being free.

ouch! i suggest you make a US account. because that prob what there gonna charge you. make a US gamertag just for psu i suggest and use MS point cards to pay.

Yeah, if it comes down to that I'd just make a US Silver account for it, but that has to be some sort of mistake. As stupid as Sega is, they can't possibly intend to give the subscription fee a 25% hike for no reason.

Well in Austraila the guardians licence is AUS$18. US$9.99 is only AU$13.
Now ill just buy the game when the price drops and play the single palyer game.

The game going to come with a month free anyway, so with it going up now you should be able to buy it and not have to use it straight away.

i was checking out the guardians licsence and it gave payment options, one which included redeem prepaid card. doesnt that mean that you can use the points?

I don't think that you can use points. The membership download said it would remove the fee from your account directly each month until you cancel it yourself.
