With that in mind don't expect to just hop online the minute you recieve your copy, I'm pretty sure they will announce when the servers are ready so it can be official as to when everyones free trial starts. Considering the fact that maaaany many people see this primarily as an online game, I don't see why they wouldn't have the servers up on release o_____O;

In that case, I think it would be the only right thing to do if you re-word your entire opening post, making it clear to everyone that this is what you'd like to see happening, NOT something they're in any way bound by.

I personally think it's a horrible idea not to allow people to talk about these things.

I actually this post might be useful for the release date. Im pretty sure if SEGA doesnt have the servers up the first day, people are going to be complaining on the forums and we will go through the whole XBox360 beta complaint phase again. Also, people, this isnt really the place to complain about the connection problems. Sure you can make a post, but its not going to get you anywhere if its server side. Maybe if it was client side we would be able to help.

I actually agree with this thread, I think it's a great idea. It will help weed out thousands of "ZOMG I CAN'T CONNECT" threads, which none of else would be able to help with anyways. I think BlueInfinity's intentions were good.

Oh I do believe his intentions were good, it's the way he went about it that seems all wrong.

Suggesting a sticky for these things would have been a much better course of action, in my opinion.

well there's only one stickie that you have to read.. the other ones are for special cases (screenshots, spoiler, importers, pso wants you) so I don't see the need for reading any other than the Welcome to PSU General, which I recommended to be stickied when it was posted.

But actually, regardless of whether or not he's a mod, Blue makes very good suggestions. Sega and their mods don't read these boards, so your concerns and complaints fall on deaf ears when you rant here. The best place for it is their boards. Drive their mods crazy and stab them with your words for whatever reason you think is important enough for that.
