I have 2 friends that are definitely getting it launch day or close to it(and my friend's brother will be playing on the same account as one of them, who I am also friends with), and around 6 friends that want it but can't get it on launch day or possibly ever dure to the monthly fee. I'm tempted to do what I did with PSO for the Dreamcast when it first came out;

With two of my friends, I told them to buy a Dreamcast, PSO, Memory Card, and Keyboard... then told them to play it for a week. I then told them that if they could honestly say they didn't enjoy the game or want to play it after playing it that long, I would reimburse them for everything they bought, plus they could keep everything.

All they had to do was play it and then tell me they didn't like it, and neither could. They both said (basically) "I can't even tell you I don't like it just to get my money back."

Ah the power of digital crack.

Me and Sef (member of site) are going to get our copies at Gamestop. I'm getting the PS2 version (just bought my keyboard [Logitech at Rhino's] and a brand spankin new controller [offical controller]). Sef is getting it for the PC, seeing he has a spiffified Dell XPS M1710... and my Dell Dimension 2400 can't handle PSU at all... So my newer slim PS2 should do the trick.

We have a friend at work, Doug, that I got all hyped up about PSU with, and he has Xbox360 and was telling me all about the beta and stuff... Unfortunately it's a separate server and all =/ but me and Sef will be on the same server http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif . Work will be akward, all 3 of us talking about PSU, yet only 2 of us will be relating to personal PSU online experiance with eachother. Oh well =/

I got all 3. Ps2 for the living room, PC for my main version in my room and xbox360 for if im using my PC for anything. I'm unsure if i will pay the monthly fee for the 360 version, since most of my friends will be on PC or at least PS2.

Interesting that on that link its the PC version thats listed as one of their best sellers, not the PS2 or xbox360. a lot of people seemed to previously be speculating that the ps2 version would be most popular followed by 360 and then PC last. This is just one site true, but its one of the biggest software retailers, it will be interesting if the version people thought was least popular was the most popular.

well if the X360 version servers ever disappoint or disappear in some unexpected way, my luggages will warp to the PS2 version.

but in any case I'm positive the X360 version will be the best for me though I'll miss playing with PS2 and PC people.

Im still not gonna get a headset though.
