The offline part of the game, while better than PSO offline, still can't compete with an RPG specifically made to be offline.

I'm just wondering what Phantasy Star fans think about a Phantasy Star that goes all out on both the offline RPG and the online MMORPG.

Say if Sega made the offline version as good as PSI, PSII, and PSIV were back in the day, complete with character development, an awesome storyline, and an emotional attachment to the characters, and also had a full fledged, kick butt online version too.

How much would you pay?

I'm stingy http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif, but without a current souce of income i'm not putting much into games right now.

I don't really care about offline mode since I'm not a fan of the original PS games, but I will run through it eventually.

I would just pay however much the game costs since I am playing it specifically for online mode.

It's $10 bucks extra for the collector's addition.

i kinda wish the character thet u use in offline mode could be used in online mode like pso but well than that would eventually lead to hacking so well what ever than maybe id pay more for the game but im fine with pso...

I've played PS 1,2, and 4 and they are awesome. With technology today, a new offline PS game would be incredible.

I would pay $100 bucks. It would be two games in one, instead of an online game with a less than stellar offline game.

As long as it was like PSO/PSU in setting and weapon/armor looks and not like the rest of the Phantasy Star series, then sure, I'd pay maybe $10 extra for it.

I thought PSU's Story Mode came extremely close to mimicking the aesthetic and feel of the originals. The only real flaw I can come up with is that there isn't much to do aside from the core storyline, but that's what Network Mode is for.

I'll keep the Story Mode for the Server Maintenance~

Realistically, there's no real limit to what I'd pay as long as I could afford it. I mean, I'd buy a console for PSU if I had to.
