Pre-ordered it, but it definitely doesn't assure me that I get one on release day. (learned by experience, many times, lol)

The countdown says less than 12 hours left... but the release day is Oct 24th? So over here at the end of the countdown it will still be Oct 23rd at like 8pm... you think my Gamestop will be selling the game then or will I have to wait til tomorrow morning? I really don't want to call out sick tommorrow, lol. XD

well RiOT ya think ya have it bad not wanting to call in sick i have a apointment with me orthodontast tommarow (24th) and they are gona be pulling a tooth from the top of my head down and il be playing PSU in tears of pain----err---joy

Dentist appointments are evul. Though, aftermaths of dentist appointments aren't as bad, as long as you've got some nice supply of that vicodin. XD

So, open to the public on the 25th... so does that mean even if I get the game today or even tomorrow, the servers won't be up until Wednesday? Wierd, but i guess stranger things have happened, especially where ST is concerned.

Unfortunately, now there's a strong possibility I might not get it. Our family has run into a money problem and I JUST applied for a job, so getting any money before Wednesday(when gamestop gets it) would take a miracle now, -_-

They should do away with ship dates. Just tell us when you're going to sell it and be done with it. That said and done, I'm going to see if Walmart or some other boxes have it tomorrow. I've got it reserved at the Gamestop I used to work at though.

(some) Stores do get it on ship dates, so it is the sell date.

I think they keep the ship date aspect because that's the only store-wide guarrantee they can give. They know they generally can't get a product to all their stores, at the same time.
