PSU Help ^.^

A thousand apologies if this topic has already been done … I don’t have much time left in my lunch break so there’s no time to go back and read all the other posts in hear ^_^

Well any who I’ve got a question about PSU for the 360: The debit card on my live account has expired, I’m getting another one by next month … but this won’t help me when PSU comes out this week. Soooooo I was wondering if PSU was anything like PSO, as far as being able to create an online character and play offline missions until I get my card information replaced?

But dont stress, you can enjoy story mode in that mean time and learn about Gurhaal's history. Plus there is extra mode which lets you create your own character offline (only).

Then by the time you are ready to come online you will be skilled with photon arts.

I meant to say you can't bring your online character offline, but you can go on Extra Mode and create your character while playing some online missions!

wait ... I'm a bit confused hear ^_^ what is the extra mode exactly? And why can't you eventually take the charactor you made in extra mode and start playing online with her?

In order to try and prevent hacking/duping in the game AND to get a better handle on patches and stuff, they decided to hold our online character data on their server. In other words, if our character online is lost, it's THEIR fault, not ours, XD.

Extra mode is just basically a preview of what online mode....just without all of the people. You can get partner cards and call in the AI from the story line, and pretty much run around and do missions that are available in online mode, I believe. However, unlike Online mode, I think everything is unlocked from the start.
