I'm curious as to what facets of appearance can and cannot be changed after character creation, for both casts and non-casts...

Ah good questions. Well. For human-type faces, you can only change the eye color, hairstyle, and skin tone.
For Beasts you can change the eye type.
For cast heads, you can change the color and type of head.

I'm to assume cast bodies are the same as clothing then?

And you didnt mention the eyeliner category, so am I assume that isnt changable?

You mean like the shadow under the eyes and stuff? Thats not changable.
And yeah cast bodies are the same as clothing.

Also I forgot to mention that females get to apply different types of lipstick color.

Its probably easier to list what you can change

Eye pupil type and eye color
Hair style and color
Skin Color

Cast body "parts" act like clothes and can be changed

Actually, you can also change eye-type for humans as well. Kind of like applying contacts or something, to attempt to change your visual eye shape. You can do it in the space station, but not on planets. You can also Tan or Untan yourself and change the skin color. You also can change lipstick color. Though I think that option might only be for females.

I find it funny that they can change the shape of the pupil, but not the shadows around the eye, though... Seems like the latter would be lower-tech...
