View Full Version : how come the weapons you start with are only worth 1 meseta?

I mean they would sell for at least 400-800 meseta at the shops.

I find it interesting when we sell them they are only worth 1 meseta each. even the clothes you start with are worth about 9+ meseta more than that, yet of course even the most basic weapons are more useful than mere outer clothes. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

of course if you directly buy a weapon from a shop and sell it back, they would at least be worth...um what was it. 20-40? and that's if they are the lowest star rating and stuff.

but ya any infomation regarding the 1 meseta weapons we start with? I mean they are worth more than that but I guess since we start with them and since characters can share anything in storage, they did that to prevent ppl from just using the storage feature to making a lot of money easy by making characters over and over.

Because people would abuse remaking characters and selling the items for meseta.
And you answered yourself.

I know how you feel. In the beta, I made some Sabras for a Hunter Friend of mine with elemental damage on them, however, when he went to sell them in turn for the next level of Saber, they too went for only 1 Meseta! What a rip off... Might as well sell them through my PM shop to other newbies.

They're still useful for feeding to PMs though!

If you rush the process for the casting wand from a Force char, how long from beginning to end does it take to make the character?

ya but ppl can still make new characters and give clothes to their main one. each piece of clothes sells for like only about 10 meseta but ppl comonly start with 3 pieces of clothes so thats like about 30 meseta. patient ppl will accumulate meseta tha way but ya that's relaly nothing compared to just doing a quick C rank mission and get S rank and get over quadruple that amount in less amount of time and stuff.

so ya it balances itself out. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Nope is made for that character only, and each character can only have 1 PM (the one you start with)

Thats because they are only the 800 meseta ones in the store, find a 2k weapon and it sells for around 150 meseta or something. you get very little back off the price of the item but all low grade stuff is 1 meseta.

They're only worth one Meseta a piece so people won't make 20 characters and stockpile all the weapons/armor, and then sell it to make money. Same with the clothes.

And please, the best you'd get from your starting gear is like 100 a piece. The shops only by stuff for a fraction of what they sell them for, like 5-10%.

I wanted to test how fast I could level my PM with the starting equipment, and the best time I got for removing all weapons/armor/clothes and placing them in my common storage was 58 seconds. I did that about 15 times then got distracted by far more interesting things.

Great if you want to level your PM's armor rank, but other than that, it's slow as molasis.
