PSU US required TCP ports

I know a few people were curious about this, and the official FAQ/Troubleshooting (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/support_troubleshoot.php) guide has been updated with some information.


The TCP port numbers are 11000, 11001, 11100, 11101 and 12000 ~ 12010. You may have to change your router settings to allow access to these ports.

This is slightly different to the JP version (which used 11000-11099 and 12000-12099).

In addition, for anyone behind a Router:


Broadband routers have a parameter known as MTU. This sometimes needs to be set to a minimum required value. The PHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE setting has an MTU value of 1420.

So get configuring those Routers and proxies, folks.

you dont have to change anything yet. try starting the game up first. Mine worked fine without changing anything. if it doesnt work, then goodluck :"x

this is just for people behind proxies and hardware firewalls. and if those got set up by someone else, youre not allowed to alter their ports anyway.

any desktop firewall will ask you if you want to allow PSU to connect to the net.

Hope its ok here, on a uni network and no idea if they will open ports for just me and one game. Though they did open up xbl for like 5-6 people in the dorms.
