I heard somewhere that the regular silver account can still be used with PSU provided you have a Guardian License. Is it true because it would suck to pay for both PSU and xbox live gold?

Every time someone doesn't read the official FAQ, baby Jesus cries.

But anyhow... yes, you can play it with just XBox Live Silver.

Wow, didn't know that.. I always thought that any and all games required for you to have a gold account to play multiplayer.

Normally this holds true, but xbox live makes an exception for games with online fees of their own, IE- FFXI, and now PSU

thanks. My question is answered. I'm glad I can use my silver account because doa4 and soon psu will be the only games I own, so it wouldn't be worth getting a gold account.

You'd have a gold account. It gets transferred over. At least it did for me. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No. Silver is allowed. Generally, people paying for Gold play other games besides PSU, so the extra fee doesn't bother them, like me.

The subscription and all associated data carries over to the Xbox 360 (after you migrate your Gamertag, which is cake to do). You'd be a Gold member off the bat.

I hate that you only need Silver to play PSU... it makes me NOT buy gold... but I would like to have gold to be able to play the other games I have for 360 but now I won't. Conclusion... I'd rather skip gaurdian license and just pay the Gold membership... don't you agree? *hmm*
