well iv been hearing "what world are you gona be playing on" a few times and I was wondering if this was gona be like WoW or SWG were you can only have charecters on like a server and you cant move to a diffrent server. sorry if this has been asked before

Actually, Characters will be server exclusive (Meaning they can not move from world to world) BUT! They are not Universe exclusive (meaning they can travel between Universe to Universe).

World = Server
Universe = Channels

Umm, CherryLunar, the Japanese PS2/PC servers has 2 "Worlds" with a number of "Universes" each.
You can have 4 characters on each "World" but you cannot move the characters between "Worlds". Inside a World you can move freely among the Universes though.
But from what we know so far, the US PS2/PC servers and Xbox 360 only have one World at the moment.

so YES, you can move characters between servers but not between worlds/separate networks/infrastructures.

If you know that a friend is in one world can you create your toon in that world or is it random?

Saner, thats going to confuse alot of people.

For a few months now, we have been saying that Worlds are the servers and Universes as Channels because its alot less confusing than saying Worlds are a network of servers and Universes are servers.

There is a very high chance that they won't even have more than one "world" for the US versions

Um... I haven't heard about how many Worlds are going to be running at launch. Anyone know? And IF someone can give a list, perhaps we can say which we will be on?

ok I think I get it now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif that sucks I really hate that sence I was hoping id possibly meet up with old friends I had lost contact with sence it happend to me in BB but its highly unlikely if things are like this
