Quit last spring... was on Midgard, Character: Nugget, Tarutaru 63Bst/37Whm/Nin/War/Blm/Mnk. Gave the character over to someone else, last I heard they're still using the character but leveling Smn. I loved being a Beastmaster..by far the best job in the game. I also loved playing Ballista, any kind of pvp in that game was the best when you had two large teams going in all out warfare. That's all behind me though, never going back to FFXI. My brother has a 75 bst (we'd often duo together, lots of fun) and still plays to this day, unable to break the addiction.

75DRG/75WAR finally I'm free! Back to my roots with Phantasy Star, took SEGA long enough... jesus... but thank god for SEGA, my childhood would've been dry without Sonic and what not. I'd rather not talk about FFXI, bad memories, really a horrid game, to take that much time to get to anything fun should be a crime against gamers everywhere... A game should be fun not feel like work.. >.> That's my opinion anyway. formerly 75 rdm lakshmi server 2 + years later I quit not because of PSU but because after ToaU I realized the game was designed to make you sacrifice yourself, and thats unhealthy. Hope I can get my hands on a copy of PSU tomorrow, I look forward to a healthy fun online game, and man I missed PSO games because thats where I originally came from, and when EP3 sucked I was so glad to hear this was eventually coming.

Zalora 75SMN on Fenrir server. I actually attended the FFXI fan festival out in CA last spring and met many great people during the three years I played, however despite the game being fun - rolling with HNM item whores was a complete buzzkill to the game that after awhile burned me out to quit last Aug. This will be the third time I have returned to Phantasy Star (Dreamcast, Xbox, & 360) which is no surprise, the community is great and the voice chat conversations were very enjoyable. Well, once you got your subjobs levelled, your rank missions done, had a good source of income, had gear all laid out, etc... levelling a new job was actually really, really fast. FF XI's supposed length of levelling was largely because of A) all the extra stuff you had to do, some of which I already mentioned, and B) you (reasonably) had to depend on a group to level up as nearly all of the jobs after a certain point.

I wanted PSO for Dreamcast, but never ending up getting it. I got it for the Gamecube, and have never stopped loving it. I favored the XBox version after I got it. I tried FFXI on the 360, and I was so disappointed. All I wanted was my PSO back, or what I really believe PSU will bring to the table. I only played FFXI to about level 13, and that was all I could endure. I cannot explain my disappointment, or the anticipation I have for the PSO sequel. I believe PSU will come through and be all the PSO was and more, with now major downfalls (the complete seperation of offline and online isn't the end of the world for me). I cannot wait to get back online, and I will see my 360 family when we get there.
