Yes, it it, they had a severe blow to the operation of the boards, and Mindshare has decided to close it down. But the guides will remain on the site though.

And yes I do know that an incease of users will increase the idiots... but there are mods here that actually do their job. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. @_@

Damn. What a shame.
I like PSO world, but this forum always ran a lot slower than the Ragol one.
Plus, the ragol community seemed older and more mature.
What a loss =(.

Well, the staff is looking forward to any members joining and posting here. Some members may not share the same sentiment. But the staff will try to keep an open atmosphere for joining members. If the shunning happens again, let us know.

yes we're not the same, we do try, and we'll try to make it as comfy as possible for you guys here
keep in mind though, it's hard because we have a lot of members and we are on gamespy.
but in general everyone gets along, and if any problem arises let us know, feel free to use the mod alert!

Keep in mind, I'm the loudmouthed, egotistical jackass who thinks he knows it all (and does) around here. I sound like a prick most of the time, but I'm actually nice when you get to know me. Ask my friends who tend to get the rares I find for... being friends. Er... yeah.
Just don't melee in a game with me if you're playing a force and all tends to stay pretty civil.

Really though, I like everyone here even if they are rude. I'm sure most of the people here are nice when you really get around to playing with them.

I'm kinda sad to hear that Ragol.com went down. That was just always one of the sites that I thought would always be there. =
As already said, everyone is welcome here. It's a new forum, and some adjusting will have to be made, but I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here once you get used to it.
And if anyone has any problems, let us know. We're here to help keep this place inviting and encouraging to new members as well as old, so by all means please keep in touch if something happens.

Anyways... I more than welcome people, even brand new players to our boards... It's the old ones with ego trips, that I dislike... Even though i'm probably one of the biggest egos around... Gah, I really liked the Ragol forums. I guess there's not much that can be done.
I've never been a regular visitor to PSOW, and Ragol's closing won't change that.
On a more technical note, am I the only one who finds that the PSOW forums take ages to load?

This forum does seem to take ages to load. i have never post that much on either this broad or ragols but i enjoyed reading alot of the posts on their broad. But alas, I guess ill have to reside here from now on.

slow forum loading is a hard one to work around because we're on gamespy servers.

Thats too bad. I liked those forums. I guess I'll be posting here more often now. This place is cool too, but as others have mentioned, it can be painfully slow sometimes.
More bad news hunters,the whole ragol.com site is gone for good. The now the whole website isn't accessable anymore.

Ragol closing down is a shame but i was a member here first so im not to bothered.
Ive been away actually still kickin my heels waitin for psogamecube to come out in Europe, ragol.com was nice cause lots of european players could get together and whinge lots. lol
Man, they always had good news too. But PSOW will always be my home.
