Eh prob best not to get it for the PC 256 ram is going to lag it extreamly bad. As for the DVD you only have to install it then never touch the disc again.

1) You do not need the DVD after installing.

2) Eh... >_>

So you do still need the cd to paly the game on the PC? -__-

I hate when that happens,, it's just gonna be a lot more space wasted to just make an iso of it and run it off a virtual drive tool.
I'm the kinda of person who doesnt want to waste the time to pop in and out the cd just to play the game, also it keeps the cd in good shape knowing it doesnt have to be used

Perhaps clarity of the game being CD format or DVD format.

Major retailers list it in pictures as a PC:CD

I beleive either format would follow the same strategy as they are both just media formats...
I could have sworn it was a DVD though.

*Edit*

Yeah, if you look at the system requirements, a DVD drive is needed in both Minimum and Recommended Setups... So I'm pretty sure it's a DVD.

Yeah, I understood that part as well.

I don't have the info myself either on the format.

Just throwing that out there for someone to clarify in due time.

Edit: DVD-ROM, not multiple CDs, confirmed media.
Thanks.

Even if your processor was good enough, that graphics card really isn't one you'd want to play a game with >.O

The game is not on CD.

And probably you're only going to be able to install it on one PC.

... hmmm? I've never run across a video game for the PC that somehow stopped me from installing it on multiple PCs. Granted, you aren't technically supposed to do that, but I'm really not sure how they'd stop you from doing it unless GameGuard checks for multiple copies of the game online (since you have to be connected to the net to play unless you use illegal means to get rid of it), which is possible.

Regardless, he wants to install the game on a friend's hard drive and then simply copy the files over through a burned CD or ethernet or whatever, because he doesn't have the type of drive that would allow him to install it on his. Provided it doesn't require special entries into the registry or anything like that (and some games do, though you can copy those as well if you know what you're doing), you can do that.

It's not like he's trying to steal the game, after all.

But honestly, judging by your computer... I wouldn't recommend trying to play it anyway. Get it for the PS2 or the 360.

man you have to be joking me with that graphics card. the game would be completely unplayable. I have a card much better than that and im thinking of upgrading to a 200$ card just for this game.

Wow man...

I'm sorry, but that's the weakest computer I've seen in a while. Go for the consoles.
