Pre-Ordered from Ebgames do they hold the money right away?

I pre-ordered it from ebgames the guidebook and the game they guide has shipped but in my account info from my bank its not even showing up that they took it. I was wondering if its the same thing for the game. I actually wrote them an email like 4 days before the guide was to ship to cancel the order for the guide and they shipped it anyway
