I know all the Japanese copies didn't have that option. I'm not sure if a special provision was made for the US release.

Can the PC version of PSU use Wide screen res like 1920x1200?

Maybe if you modify the exe file.

IE, right click on the exe, click properties, then where it says "Target" add this tot he end of it:
+menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

So, for example,
"D:My GamesSegaPSU.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Works for many games that don't have native widescreen

Thanks I remember the Japanese version didn't but I was hoping the US ver did. If nobody knows then I just get the 360 vers tomorrow.

People have tried to modify it before. It doesn't work. At the moment, there's no workable solution. One might beable to find some way to stretch the screen, but the proportions wont be right, and you'll get no *increased* visibility from it.

So modifying the config or modifying the exe don't work?

Wow, almost like they went out of their way not to make it work http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

No widescreen support really killed my PC choice (not to mention it allows no anti aliasing at all) and then the beta sealed the decision..

My wife would kill me if i played any online game on the 360 that happens to be hooked up to the same HD TV as her DVR

I wish she could understand that PSU >> Desparate Housewives

you could always get some vga cables for that occasion, use your pc monitor as a backup hd display

Yeah, 40$ for those VGA cables is a nice investment .... I use my 20.1" monitor for 360 and PC
