PC problem

I just installed it no problem but when I choose to play network, story or credits all it does is make the pop up go away, i know its not loading cus its been a long time. Only the Option and exit button work. please help ;-;

I was just having this problem. I figured maybe my PC couldn't handle the requirements, or something was outdated that shouldn't be. I solved it by installing DirectX 9.0c from the installation disc (even though I already had it on my PC after checking several times), and then after I did that, it started up fine.

Just be aware that the game may still take a few minutes to start, as with almost any PC game with first installation.
