PC or 360?

I much prefer straight keyboard chat over voice chat, which leds me to want the PC more.

But things with Gameguard and the No-CD Key speculation has me worrying whether or not it is a smart idea.

In addition, a computer is easier to hack than a 360.

I played the beta on the 360 and I loved it, familiar controls, etc. Xbox Live was nice, and the voice chat was cool, but its just uncomfortable for me.

Any help?

Get it for whatever you can run it on better. You can use the keyboard, just as fine, with either version. Most likely the same keyboard will work. However, if you're using a PS/2 keyboard on your PC, you'll need a USB adaptor to use it on the 360 (if the keyboard didn't already come with one).

The question has been asked a lot. I just want to give a quick straight answer since I don't know absolutely every condition of your setup, over there. Plus, I didn't want it to turn into a typical *my version is better* war that the fanboys will obviously turn this topic into.

By the end of the beta, no one was using voice chat. I'm sure there were some, but the majority were typing. It really seemed like it was 'to each their own', which was particularly nice.

Chickity Check It:
360: You CAN use a wireless or wired usb keyboard AND voice chat. Its very hard to hack. Strong community in itself. And you'll get exclusives on the marketplace.
PC: HUUGE community. Easy to mod/hack. Better connection I'll go out on a limb and say. More servers. PS2 players and PC players unite.

There you go...

But being that both of these are on the U.S. Sega servers, couldn't one assume the connections going to be the same?

How do you get a wireless keyboard to work on the 360?

For most, simply plug the receiver into one of the 360 USB ports, fire up your wireless keyboard, and wallah.

I talked all the way throughout the beta, but that's also because I only played with at least 2 friends with me ... so yeah.. familiar people made it very easy to talk.. and laugh.. nonstop... about stupid stuff.... like .. the Lion King... >_>

Lol, nah we're all 17 (except for scrops, he's like 30 or something) and we just somehow got onto the subject of childhood movies, or movies that your child wants to see that the time.. kinda got distracted with Lion king, and starting singing all the songs... and yeah.. random crap like that.. something I'd never have time for with a keyboard..

XD Mufasa... >_> damn hyenas

gameguard has been proven to not work at all in protecting games 100x over, people bypass it ALOT. and no i have never done it but read about how easy people get around it.

my answer is biased all the way. but hey you asked! well if your computer could run it well use ventrillo or teamchat. i just couldn't survive fitin things that are challenging using a key board. if computer is crappy get 360 ver(thats wat im gonna do)very easy to do and asured with no hacks or anything. but if you are a typing extrodinare have high speed connection and computer you can do what ever your heart desires
