Yea, anyone know why I can't get voice playback to work on the PC version during character creation? The voice I got wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was looking for http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

Any ideas anybody? or does someone have all the samples setup somewhere? (The flash JP thing voice playback wasn't working for me either when I tried it)

i have a button on my speakers called Matrix and when i have it on, i can't hear voices on that voice testing screen, or the sound effects of weapons swinging in the game.

i think matrix disables surround sound and just converts 5 speakers into 2.

Hmm, I don't have anything like that, but I do have other setting buttons on my speakers. I'll mess around with them and see if I can get it to work. Thanks for the help http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

If you have an Audigy 2 soundcard with 5.1 sound turned on, you will experience this problem. I, too, had it when I played PSU JP version.

The solution is to set your sound card's speaker option to 2.1

Problem solved.

You can change the pitch of the Voice as well...
