Well I've been refreshing as well and when it crashes it says at the front page that my account has no subscriptions. It can't charge me if I have no subscriptions.

Yeah I know I can't subscribe to the game so I can't get online this sucks. I should have did this last night, I wish I knew this was going to happen. Reminds me of my ffxi days of waiting to have to play because of servers.

This is a pain in the ass. I had my account set up ahead of time, but i cant get on cause it sayd that it cant verify it from playsega. So i go there and it wont let me on!!!!!!!

Come to think of it, WHY would Sega make us sign up through a site? That's pure stupidity. They should have made it so that we could sign up in-game. That way, all of this would have been avoided.

Sega better get ready for flame mail.

And what would you have had them do? Buy an extra fifteen hundred servers just for billing on the first day and waste a colossal amount of money that no company short of M$ would ever approve of doing? It's not "unacceptable." If it was unacceptable, you wouldn't be trying.

This is how all online games of significant popularity tend to be. I assume you didn't play games like Final Fantasy XI or EverQuest where large patch days or the day of a new expansion caused ridiculous server overload. People who bought Shadows of Luclin for EQ couldn't actually play it for a day or two.

Be glad the game's popular. Chill out.

The world isn't ending because you have to wait an hour or whatever for billing.
