View Full Version : It seems us PSU 360 users might be really lucky

Ok as everybody knows, our copies got delayed practically everywhere in the US, the PS2 and PC people got their copies 1st which makes me feel happy for them... however it seems they are also the 1st ones running into a bunch of problems.. not just people in this forum, but people in just about every forum who is a PC/PS2 user (not every single PC/PS2 user though). So what am i get it at with all this?
this means that by the time we PSU 360 gamers get to play the game all these issues should be resolved... so im thinking that fate might have had something to do with us getting our copies late, in the end it seems that even though we had to wait an extra day, that was an extra day sonic team had to get their shit straight, which means great for us and bad for people who have got it early but ran into alot of problems.

And then GOD smiled upon the 360 users, Amen. lol

Dude, SHIPPING got delayed BY A DAY. Nothing's going to be fixed. Chances are we won't have all the PC problems anyway, seeing as we don't use Gameguard.

Well one day wouldnt be enough time to BAM fix all those problems... but some of those problems will automatically go away, considering we wont have to install the game from our disc(unless we just get defected discs no matter what) Also I believe having xboxlive might make things a little bit smoother..

I wonder why that is...

Fear the Lag...for it is a formidable opponent... *thinks about the PSO days and shivers*

360 users get to wait a day. PC users get to open a box and find a copy of the wrong game. Good times...

The only problem I really see with lag would be the voice chat not working or cutting out. Other than that it shouldnt even be as bad as the beta, which compared to many games wasn't that bad.

and thats why im picking up a USB keyboard.
voice chat is awesome... but typing is just as great!

i'd advise those who can buy one to do so.

If I wasn't home during Beta testing I woulda played it.. I had the odd notion of leaving my 360 in KY when I went home to FL.. It was a good call.. I wouldn't have been able to pack all those clothes I bought if I had.. either way..

I'm so excited to play PSU.. I'll play the Story mode all night tomorrow and friday I'll prolly beat it by then. I have a four day weekend.. I'll enjoy it.. Either way I'm so excited.. I'm worn out now.. ~_~ *tired*

The game suddenly cut out the Offline portion? That blows.

I bet when we open up our fresh spiffy 360 copies, we'll all find Shadow the Hedgehog inside (for the xbox, of course).

You heard it here first, folks. They delayed it a day to make sure we get the game we -should've- bought instead.

Oct 25, 2006, 05:36 PM
LOL! in that case I can stop eating so much in anticipation for pSU.

USB keyboard a must have Id say.. personally when Im tired I don't wanna talk, I'd much rather just type instead of mumbling.

Not to depress anyone but we get the 360 version on Thursday, so most of us get the game right when their weekly updates are on and servers are down. So most likely we'll all be playing on friday or something lol...

Flunky
Oct 25, 2006, 05:43 PM
I doubt I'll be able to get online on thursday anyways... but there's still the juicy story-based candy shell! Now I just need to balance studying with PSU once I get it and it'll all be fine.

StanleyPain
Oct 25, 2006, 05:45 PM
Yeah, but the problems seem to be related to the usual PC issues...I don't see how that would effect 360 users, except we have to wait.

FenixStryk
Oct 25, 2006, 05:45 PM
I won't be going online until I beat the Offline mode, so there's no problem here.

Tahldon
Oct 25, 2006, 05:47 PM
Yeah, we'll just have to wait. And all we have to do is play the offline version, which in itself is better. Lol I wouldn't be surprized if they kept the servers offline for like at least the first week, just so that people can play the story mode first.

But that's a very closed minded assumption, but it'd help the community more. though people have their different interests..

To be honest, considering that they held it back a day they hopefully had time to make sure the right bleeding disc is inside the case. I'm just being a lil' paranoid, is all.

Lol my friend has the PC version. I will admit, as wrong as I know it is I was jealous and I willed for his game not to work. My will is weak though cause he's playing it without any problems. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I won't be mean anymore.

I'm gonna carry my knife to the store and right when I buy it I'm gonna split the package and open it up right in front of them. Then I'll tell em "People had problems all yesterday.. getting STronghold legends in their cases instead of PSU.. I don't want it to happen to me.." lol I'll be honest.

Uh..I didn't think about that..but it -does- make sense..

Somebody was probably trying to play it themselves and opened the case and was like "Damn.. this ain't PSU.. then went to the little machine that produces the copies and saw "Stronghold Legends" in the little space and was like "Oh.. my ... God!!!" and they'd already shipped off like 4 truckloads.

A possibly likely story indeed.
