I've given up on trying to get the online mode to work today... So I tried to get to the offline mode. Every time I try to open the game it says it is incountering a problem, and must close.

Did I install the game wrong?! Or is it something else? Is anyone else having this problem?

Please tell me what is up. Me = getting very angry.

I am going to nuter the entire Sonic Team with a spork if they screwed up my game...

If you are playing the PC version and cannot get the online mode to work, chances are you will not get offline to work. You have to connect to Sega's servers each time you play the PC version "offline". I guess they do this to curb piracy.

This is one of many reasons I'd rather play the 360 version.

But i'd un-install and re-install it before giving up.

did you allow Ngameguard to allow access to the internet aswell as allowing PSUoffline access to the internet?

Nothing happens for me either when I click on the Icon. And I don't see any pso processes running. I'm going to reinstall on my C: drive and turn off my firewall.

I think you might need the disc in the drive. At first I tried playing without it in; nothing happened. Popped it in, clicked story mode, it loaded up. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gifunno:

Also try installing direct X.

reinstalling and turning off firewall did not help. I assume I don't have Ngameguard since I don't know what it is.

It should load up when you have the disc in the drive and you click story mode.

Yeah, I have the latest version as well, but I guess you need to install from the disc for the game to work http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Well direct x is installed in mine and the game won't load what so ever, reinstalled many times, the thing I don't see is nguard... I only see a .des for gameguard but... nguard isn't present, so can comeone hook it up with nguard? 'cause maybe that's the prob?
