can you tell me how to unequip and take weapons out of the pallete? I just couldnt figure i out... and my friend said you can change classes, is that true? Or is that only in Extra Mode?

i'll be nice and explain:

1. select the item then go to unequip/remove from palette

2. yes you can switch classes any time with a certain amount of mesta.(the amount changes per level)

3.i think you can change classes in any mode besides story mode

HOLY CRAP DUDE take the tutorial! Offline mode? I'd be willing to bet the instruction manual tells ya. Or do they tell you in that too? I've only played online 360 beta and japanese offline pc/ps2.

Ive done chapter one, i dont remember it saying how to equip and unequip... thats the only chapter i had time for, so if it says in the second chapter than i guess its ok.

ok im bumping this because im desperate... these are the commands i have when i select an item

Add to Pallette (its already added)
link photon art
refill PP w/ item
Drop (im in lobby, cant drop)
Return

I recently asked this same question. Apparently add to palette (from same slot) and it will make that slot un-equipped. I believe that's what they told me. Will try tonight.

Go into the add to Pallette thingi (when it is still added) and click the same slot that it is added on, it will remove it.

Also, you can change your Type in story mode.
