OK i dont know if this has been posted yet im a little to lazey to search throught all the subjects. anyway when i try to run the game in single or network it starts to load up right i guess but when the window for the game window pops up i get a JAP message and the game quits. I have tryed everything updating my graphics drivers, directx, and everything else i can think of including messing with the video and sound settings. Can someone please help me out i would very greatful

The fix is you have to download the directx off the CD, cant be from anywhere else to fix it

What computer are u running it on?

The only reason that happened to me was because my firewall opened up and I had to turn it off/allow PSU. Try shutting off your firewall and see if it works.
