The Authentication Servers for Playstation 2 and PC are currently down. Users attempting to connect may receive authentication errors for these platforms.

The billing seems to be down as well. Whereas before it would load for a long time before going dead, now it just immediately tells me 'server unavailable' when I refresh the page.

lol oh so true... I'm somewhat thankful that there's tech issues so I can play Story Mode and learn knowing that I'm not missing out on much.

I WAS in the server, online, but I backed out (for a second, I thought... <_<) to adjust my graphics settings and then I was locked out. Grrrr... oh well, this is pretty typical for online rpg's on the first night. Always sumthin...

This sucks and all, but atleast Im learning new things and how to control and attack and put items/PAs and mess where everything needs to be. As appose to me running around with my head cut off online O_o

I'm with Sevenfold. At least play a little bit of the offline mode if you have no experience. It's definitely helping a lot with getting used to the controls... I improved my ability to handle my character a ton just in the first chapter.

I haven't really had any trouble with the network mode, I was able to familiarize myself with the controls within an hour or so.

I've only died twice thus far, one being that I was stupid enough to try and fight De Ragan.

Well, I guess I won't play again tonight. Any ideas on what may have happened? Did the servers just crash, or did Sega purposely shut the servers down for a check up?

I'd like to know this too. I'm hoping no as it won't let me enter any caps for some reason. However, I keep getting "Error 61 Can't recognize ID" or some nonsense, even though I squared it all off this morning before the rush.

The IDs DO appear to be case sensitive. Just tried it with a lower case and an upper case and the lower case is the only one that worked.

i tried playin the story mode, got 5 mins in and just cried. Ethan takes over the spot Zidane from FF 9 had in my heart as the most hated main character ever in an rpg.Ethan only took 5mins and Zidane took atleast 30mins tho.
