Anyone find any reviews for the NTSC version of Phantasy Star Universe yet?

Have you guys noticed that reviews never come out on time or early anymore? Anything remotely obscure can take days to even a week to have any reviews. Nothing on Gamerakings yet...

Reviews for MMOs usually come out a week or two after release, just because you can't test and review an MMO on an empty server. Although this isn't an MMO, it's pretty close.

Everyone says its not an MMO...you don't encounter everyone else's characters that are on the "universe"?

1st review gives it a 90% for PS2...

Edit: I guess this is an old review. It also looks like Famitsu liked it scoring it 35/40.

Except PSU/PSO isn't about running around in a lobby regardless of how many players you come across. It's about instanced dungeons, and you can only take 5 others with you. 6 players in a game isn't an MMO in my book.

Then what kind of game is Guild Wars?

...An online game? Massive is somthing like EverQuest, where you log in and there everyone is. Diablo (using as an example, since I havn't played Guild Wars, but whatever) wasn't an MMO 'cause the only place where there were lots of players was the chatroom. In PSU the lobbies are just glorified chatrooms you can buy stuff in. It's not where the game takes place or anything.

But can you form a group in the lobby. I realize its not a traditional MMO like WoW or EQ. Which is fine since I'm not a huge fan of that style of gameplay. Its really just splitting hairs. I'm all about exactly what this game is http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
