View Full Version : Dummy's Guide to Getting Free Stuff w/ Char Creation

As you should well know, when you make a character you get free items. If you use the Common Box and Redressing Room, you can get all the free clothes and all the starting weps in a few minutes. Here's the list of what races get what.

Note: The idea is NOT to sell the free stuff, it's to get a nice closet full of clothes, all the starting weapons from all the manufacturers, and to get some extra stuff to feed your PM.

Human:
GRM Sword
GRM Sabre
GRM Handgun
Humanoid Shirt/Pants/Shoes
5x Monomate

Newman:
Yohmei Wand
Yohmei Sabre
Yohmei Handgun
Humanoid Shirt/Pants/Shoes
5x Monomate

Beast:
TENORA Knuckles
TENORA Sabre
TENORA Handgun
Humanoid Shirt/Pants/Shoes
5x Monomate

CAST:
GRM Rifle
GRM Sabre
GRM Handgun
Robotic Torso/Legs/Arms
5x Monomate

If you make multiple temporary characters and transfer their starting equipment to your main, you can ideally obtain every piece of clothing and all of the starting weapons. I strongly recommend doing this, especially if you're not a Beast, since their Saber/Handgun is the best out of all 3 manufacturers.

Also, a quick guide to manufacturer fortes:
TENORA- Highest Power, Highest Accuracy, Lowest PP
Yohmei- Highest PP, Average Accuracy, Lowest Damage
GRM- Average PP, Average Power, Lowest Accuracy

Wow I must be a dummy then, cause I honestly hadnt even thought of doing this. everyone else may read the OT and use the info then continue on their way, I would like to take the time to say...

well not the best, but with the highest ATP, which, some may think is the best thing for a sabre and handgun (like me)

go go multi characters!

Beast weapons being more powerful is technically incorect

its TENORA weapons that have more POWER.
Think of it as

GRM- Balanced
TENORA- High power, Low PP [Damage per hit Valued more]
YOHMEI- Low power, High PP [ Dagame over time Valued more]

Yohmei- Highest PP, Average Accuracy, Lowest DamageEh, that's true (although I fixed a bit of the issues you omitted), but PP (aka ammunition) isn't really a problem if you're using a Handgun/Saber combo. But, whatever floats your boat.

GRM isn't really balanced because the accuracy is so low. I don't even look at GRM items anymore.

Do clothes sell as well online as they do offline? I made my little cast girl in extra mode and actually like her better without arm parts AND I sold them for a good 10,000 meseta and it'd sure be swell if that were the case online by golly.

Well you could just create Newman characters and feed your wands to your pm for early good levels.

Yeah, please do. If you can put cast parts in your shop for 200-300 meseta (going rate on the Japanese servers) that'll help a lot of people making a defense PM who would rather not farm.
