So far i've finished the first chapter of story mode and i'm halfway through the second chapter. I keep cracking up during the game too....

Another thing to add to story mode...Ethan sure spends alot of time scratching his nose. Almost every other cutscene where he is talking to someone, he makes a wave with his arm in front of his face. From the game's camera angle, it looks like he's wiping his nose. Is it a cold, or allergies? WHo knows! LOL, I guess even in the futuristic Gurhal star system, you can still get a runny nose. XD

I was kind of creeped out to find Hyuga hitting on Ethan's sister. She's only like 10 for christ's sake (or at least she looks like she's 10 years)! Offering to take her to a local amusement park or something...LOL. Ethan, you're sister's a lolita. O_o (I can't remember if Ethan scratched his nose or not in that scene either).

Hahahah! I know, what was that all about! man, If I were Ethan and I saw Hyuga hitting on my sister, id be like. "Wha?! Dude thats some serious micheal Jackson S***!" but yeah, the story may at times seem kinda boring but thats only cuz at the beginning its teaching you about the basics to PSU. so once your about in ch.5 and so on. It gets kinda fun and at times, the characters do stupid things and it gets funny.

Heh, the story mode is pretty cool, huh? I've gone and gotten myself into a pickle now. I started story mode last night when they had server maintenance, and now I really like it. Now I really want to play both Story Mode and Online. I should have never touched it, but it really is a lot more fun than I expected it to be.

It is fun to see Ethan and co.s thought bubbles as well. Sometimes they're clues, and sometimes they're hilarious.

Do you talk to every npc that you see? Some of them are really strange too, there's a guy obsessed with eating Koltolva and drinking their 'juice', which I HOPE is milk although where you'd squeeze that out of one of those lizzard maggot bulldogs is beyond me.

There's also Mrs. Milzu which he knows from somewhere and badgers.
A guy named "Stank Geese" which is just.... also a girl named "Font something". A suicidal guy down on Clyez, the improbable android General with a human head and RAc body that worries Ethan. That puppy man Vol bro sounds like Big the cat!

I have to admit as well, I'm really hooked on the story mode. It's not all zillion kinds of convoluted, and doesn't have this massive history to memorize first. BUT it still has a mystery and seems to be moving along fairly well. I just finished to chap 4 so I could access charcreate to prep for online, which I was only able to pay/sign up for today as the site wouldn't lemme in. I thought I was going to like it less than I do, so I'm impressed so far. It better not have a bad/copout ending or something.

Chapter 10 last boss felt HARD!!! And so are those "tall golden giant thingies" earlier on!

They seem to memorize the element you hit them with and then use it against you. like if you hit them with blue photons they start shooting ice and surround themselves with ice, etc. etc. and I think if you hit them with green/neutral, they heal themselves more often it seems!!!!

I really love the location, uh the A-Photon reactors areas underneath Mellvore (where Lou uses SUV), that plac and music was truly incredible! it felt a bit like PSII in 3-D. and the Casts in that dungeon make me think of Mieu and Wren prototypes from PSIII or something.

OH YAAA AAND I LOVE Laser Cannons!! My goshthey are possibly the sexiest weapons ever!!! especially if you position the camera in front of Ethan at a slight angle to witness the full beauty of the lasers!! I got different color photon arts for it. its bullet types are called ___ Prisms. really beautiful weapon. LCs almost convince me to be a Ranger when I go online. But I love double claws also....hmmmm.... can't decide. XD

I noticed spears are very powerful. I ditched the twin sabers and focused on spears, sabers, handguns, and 3 wands with resta and shifta on all of them. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I also got mechgun and doublesaber but I dont use them much, I gotta get PA for doublesaber later.


for Ethan, I changed his clothes around chapter 6, with the red and blue clothes and those blue boots and those silver shorts.

then on chapter 11, I changed his clothes to the last set I'll have him wear from ch.11 to the finale, innocent vest thing and those long pants with diamond patterns. lol ya I stopped depending on her like....I forgot which chapter but once I realized Ethan can use Force wands even as a Hunter/Ranger, I ended up packing a good supply of those, and saved the monomates, dimates and trimates as a last resort. that ch. 10 boss, my wands were empty, and by the time I beat that boss, I ran out of monomates and dimates. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
