What's the difference between fire and dark bullets?

What does confuse do to enemies or to better word it, what does confuse do?

Is fire/ice the only unstackable effect?

Well I don't know personally so sorry for just sharing opinions I heard.

Page 12 of the ranger thread.

"Well if you want lots of damage take Fire bullets. Dark DoT is really bad in my opinion but I would take a rifle or ice or lightning over a damage rifle."

Thought this was your opinion on dark.

Also believe confuse is not entirely reliable since they can still attack players.

Well I did post that. . . but Iread somewhere that dark DoT works differently from fire. I only got the dark up to 7 >_>;;
