P Machine evolution

I know that a P Machine will evolve and you will get it's partner card so it can help you in battle. My question is when does it evolve? and what do you feed it to get the results that you want? For instance I'd like mine to look humanoid, like in these shots:

check out psupedia.org. they have a good section on pms that could help. i think you have to get it level 80...don't quote me on that though

I've seen ti and it's helpful but I don't understand for the Lv and stats says (on/off) does anyone know what that means. o.O
