can you play multiplayer offline?
also are there different difficulties like episode 1 and 2?

The reason is that the PS2 is already pushed to its limits with the game- split screen would make for exploding systems. I have no idea what the 360's excuse is though... it doesn't look much different.

If you mean graphics-wise you're very very wrong. The PS2's graphics were like sliding down a gravel hill on a sled. The 360's graphics are like rolling naked in butter.
