I still can't decide. What can a fortefighter do as opposed to the other class mixes? Would fortefighter be much better at melee than other class mixes? If I like to melee more than anything, would I benefit in picking anything other than fortefighter?

Depends on whether you'd rather be a swifter fighter, or a heavier stronger fighter.

Figunners specialise in swift quick weaponry, coupled with some fancy gun-work aswell.

Fortefighters are more pushed towards two handed heavy weapons, often stronger, though alittle slower. They also have more HP but less accuracy.

When it comes to Race - check some of the threads from ages ago, theres been countless race arguements, it all really boils down to personal choice.

Beasts are usually the greatest for Hunter mainly because they have more ATP....or that's what I think.

I like fighting with fast weapons, such as dual daggers or whatever. Beast is looking pretty good, should I do it? I hope I don't have any regrets later http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Right, our ATP is high...though our ATA is rather low. But its not to bad to have a zero every now and then

I really honestly recomend you search these forums for some of the old class comparison guides if you're that concerned about your Race and stats.

Yes Beasts have the highest ATP. They also have the highest HP , which is again good for Hunters, yet they also have the LOWEST ATA, which can sometimes be a downside.

None the less I'm still a beast on the JP servers, lvl 46 and loving it still simply because i think they look awesome.

Again though - I recomend you do some research.

Also, remember that you can help overcome the beast's accuracy issues by attacking creatures from behind. (100% hit) Granted that's easier said than done sometimes, but it's still something to consider.
