From my Site Related thread (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=123776&forum=6):

PSO-World is proud to announce the release of its Phantasy Star Universe Item Database (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/). It is a comprehensive database that will cover the online and offline portions of the game. At the moment, we have information for almost 650 online items, backed up by 700 pictures. In the coming weeks, we hope to be able to add information for every Phantasy Star Universe item. You can help us by submitting information using the Item Submission Form (http://www.pso-world.com/newitemsubmit.php). We also plan on adding features to the item database in the future. So if there is a feature you would like to see included, be sure to let us know!

To everyone that helped out with the new database, Ryna in particular, GREAT JOB! Looking forward to seeing what kind of monster we can turn this thing into with this great community backing it! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

That's nice, but I like the suprise of finding my items rather than looking at a list. Question though, why don't I see any kind of "credit" to other members who contrubuited in images?

This is going to be quite awesome.

For shields I think it would be cool if people could screen cap the deflection (when your shield activates).

I know it'd be very difficult to capture for some but if you are really high level in a low level area and just stand there and wait for it with some fast fingers, perhaps it can be done?

I'll be trying to do that myself but I think it's a great subtle touch by the designers that should not be overlooked.

Can we actually update existing items, like drop locations and such?

Just got a Breaker from one of the boxes after killing Da Ragan. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

REALLY?! . . . <_< Well, I need to have a talk with Da Ragan today. Maybe have a cookout or BBQ with him.

So far, all of the images have been contributed by staff members (and any images not marked are likely from Ryna, and just didn't get credited properly). If somebody submits an image using the item submit page (while logged in, so the script can tell us who sent it) we'll credit them in the database http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Ahh ok, thanks for the info bro. One more question, is X360 images (AKA Digi Cam) acceptable?

I'm not sure about the digital camera images.. Usually those are fairly poor quality. However, I guess it would be better than no picture, right? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Those pictures would likely get replaced eventually with higher quality screenshots if we did add them to the database. It's a shame there isn't a way to take screenshots in game on the 360 or PS2 :

I noticed in the clothing section , you can sort the section by brand name and such but in the futrue will there be a option to sort out clothes by male and female sections?

We can add a sort option for "Gender". It wouldn't be too hard.
