Hunters: What is your favorite weapon and highest PA?

Spear rocks, period. I got Dus Daggas to level 6 now, and plan on taking it all the way to 30. I have two spears now, and just go to another when one runs out of PP. This PA system is just awesome.

Anyways, what are you focusing on?

wanting to be a figunner, i'me sticking with my handgun sabre combo for most fights. The knocking back action from the sabre PA is nice.

i can't wait for secondary PAs tho, then i'll probably just stick with using twin sabres when i'm not at range

Right now i'm focusing on Saber (10) and Spear (6) Going to work on single and double daggers once I get higher in level

Saber (17), Spear (11), Twin Daggers (13) get the most use here followed by Sword(11) and Fists(10). Hardly ever use Twin Sabers, the PA doesn't do it for me yet.

Right now my fav's have to be twin daggers (my fav weapons in PSO were beat blades) but I just bought them last night. Rock.

Like sword, but hard to level that PA right now.

Saber/handgun for sheer versatality: the go-to. Plus levell 10+ Rising strike rox.

I don't have online mode yet but when I do, with my human hunter, I'll focus mainly on twin sabers and twin daggers.

Dude, Dus Daggas at level 11 kill everything. Mine's level 16 right now and it kills De Ragan in less than a minute!!! The only crappy thing to level is sword cause it's hard since it's so slow >_< Other than that all my PA's are above level 12 w/ sword being 8 or 9

i dont really like spears they are difficult to handle and it hard to switch targets mid combo. offline my highest is pretty close between a few weapons er knuckle pa, tornado dance(double saber pa) and single claw pa

I agree about Spears, I do like them but its kind of a pain in the ass cuz you have to stab with them.

They would be cooler if they were like the partisans from PSO. I like the other saber PA, Gravity something... it's the one Hyuga uses. VERY nice once you get it over lvl 11.

I dunno, I'm glad spears are unique. That piercing action works wonders, and it really defines the spears as a different type of weapon from swords. In PSO, partisans were basically just gimp swords. Here, they definitely have a purpose all their own with the long thrust that can hit through things.

Yeah especially when you use the PA the stabbing is good. It's just sad that the sword is extremely slow. Well hopefully axes serve the purpose of multi-hitting more quickly

Well... I tried sabers and dual sabers, partisans and what not but there is nothin' like having one of the relic jumpers hop himself right into a corner and then B@M!!!! Right in the gut with pair of fists, I got the PA for them up to 12 now and have a nice pair of them currently synthing.

Spears with Dus Daggas at level 8. I've been carrying a pair of fancy Lances around with me just so I can spit out Dus Daggas at an alarming rate and get that shits up to level 11 so I can revel in my own awesomeness. It's very therepeutic being the light of your own life.

Oh, and I gave up on Sabers to focus on single Daggers. I have Buren-etc up to level 7 now.

Right now I have my sword's skill at 15, fists 6 (my favorite, by far, so far) and my spear's Dus Daggas is lv 8. That's in story mode with Ethan at level 34 though. I only mainly use my normal attacks, I only use my special ones (whatever they're called, I forget) for bosses. I just got done like 20 minutes ago with a pain in the ass boss fight in story mode, you fight a giant machine pilotted by some guy (not giving out specifics/spoilers) and it took like 6minutes and 50seconds, I got a C on that trial, it sucked. He healed himself a lot, that and used hit and run tactics of sorts.

everyone seems to love spears....but i cant complain...im doing offline b4 online and the way i beat bosses is lvl 10+ dus daggas PA spammed to the max...the multiple hits plus the crazy dmg it destroys anything.......but spear isnt my preference. Double Claw my fav. but i havent made vahra claw yet i need some kubara wood.

Twin dagger to 13, twin saber to 12. I am loving the twin daggers the most atm. The PA is awesome crowd control and does some nasty dmg.

Well I'm another spear fanatic online. Currently using a Partizan with 4 grinds, and level 20 dus daggas. I'm actually going to work towards type hunter level 10 for the expert class and its ability to use S rank spears one day.

Getting Dus Daggas to 11 is really worth it, the 2nd attack is 3 shots so you get 5 total shots. It is a wonderful boss killer. Got my Spear up to 15, Twin Daggers at 20, Saber at 20, Sword at 20, Twin Daggers at 9, Fists at 10.
